Join us for 'Underneath the Harlem Moon,' a smokey Soul-era Harlem cabaret here in the heart of Gastown! Curated and produced by local soul songstress Ms. Krystle Dos Santos and featuring a variety of both spoken word and vocal guests each month. This edition of Harlem Moon will be hosted by special guest Aiden Farrell!
Aidan Farrell is a vocalist, pianist, composer, and teacher based in Vancouver, BC. Born in Vancouver, she studied music in Toronto, receiving her Honours Bachelor of Music in Voice from Humber College and Master of Arts in Music Composition from York University, where she expanded her love of songwriting and composition. Over the years she has created and been the musical director of multiple bands and singing groups, performing original music that fuses the genres of Jazz, R&B, Gospel, Pop, and Soul. Aidan can be heard gigging throughout Vancouver at venues such as The Rosewood Hotel Georgia, The Fairmount Hotel Vancouver, and The Hard Rock Casino. She can also be seen and heard hosting the “Karaoke Choral Cabaret”, an event which fuses choral singing and live piano karaoke. Her passion lies in performing and producing original music that uplifts listeners with inquisitive and heartfelt lyrics. Her powerfully dynamic voice is unique and authentic- bridging classical jazz and soul styles with modern pop music. Aidan is currently working on the final stages of her debut album, which will be released SOON!
