About this Event
Join us for "Underground Frequencies" the first session of Navigating the Barcelona Art Scene — a new Artist Ally series exploring how immigrant artists and cultural practitioners move through the city’s creative ecosystem.
For this first gathering, we invite DJ SP.ICE to open a conversation around underground music culture, community radio, migration, and the invisible networks that shape creative life in Barcelona.
Through music, conversation, and collective exploration, we’ll reflect on questions like:
- How do people actually enter a scene?
- How are creative communities formed?
- Where do connection, experimentation, and opportunity emerge?
- And what does it mean to build a sense of belonging through sound?
Together, we’ll move through an experience that blends:
- live listening sessions
- intimate conversation
- collective ecosystem mapping
- and the launch of a curated guide to Barcelona’s underground radio network
Designed by Artist ally and hosted by our allies Znak Community at their headquarters, this an invitation to slow down, listen, exchange experiences, and collectively explore the emotional, relational, and cultural infrastructures behind creative life in the city.
