Under Falling Stars: A Twilight Hike & Serenade is a guided 5km twilight hike through the ancient landscapes between Sullivan Rock and Mount Vincent, where granite outcrops, open woodland, and wide forest trails glow in the soft light of dusk.
As the sun sinks below the horizon, we’ll pause to take in one of the most magical moments of the day — that fleeting space between daylight and darkness. Here, surrounded by nature and stillness, you’ll enjoy gourmet grazing boards while being serenaded by a live acoustic performance by local world-class musician Ezereve, thoughtfully timed to sunset.
As night settles in, we’ll turn our eyes skyward. This evening coincides with the Lyrids Meteor Shower, one of the oldest recorded meteor displays, offering the chance to witness nature’s quiet fireworks above the forest canopy. No rush. No noise. Just music, stars, and shared wonder.
This experience is not about distance or pace — it’s about presence. A gentle adventure layered with sound, flavour, and sky, and finished beneath falling stars.

Depart: Sullivan Rock car park, Mt Cooke, at 4pm. Please arrive 15mins early to check in.

Distance: 5km
Terrain: Rocky and uneven in places, with a mix of narrow and wider forest trails. Enclosed sturdy footwear with good grip is essential. This hike is suitable for those with a reasonable level of fitness and is accessible for participants living with a cognitive disability or low hearing.
What to Bring: Water, head torch with spare batteries, warm layer for after sunset, personal first aid, camera, and an open heart for a special night outdoors
