Uncrease is Gilcrease Museum’s FREE community arts series spanning March through May 2026. Featuring 29 artists across 6 dates, the program includes live music, workshops, performances, demonstrations, and lectures, with headlining performances by The Tulsa Opera and Tulsa Symphony Orchestra. This series brings diverse artists and community members together to create, learn, and explore the new Gilcrease Museum building. Registration Required.Artist Programming Lineup for March 14:
• Clayton Keyes - Demonstration: Life-size human figure torso demonstration using a hybrid coil and pinch/slab building method in water-based clay.
• Tulsa Handspinners - Demonstration: Exhibition of various spinning methods using different tools, displaying fiber arts from beginning fiber to spun yarn with examples of completed projects.
• Scott Aycock - Music: Original music concert featuring music and lyrics interspersed with original poetry, with Jesse Aycock accompanying.
• Cory Williams - Performance: "The Silly Crocodile Interactive Experience" - a familyfriendly installation featuring digital puppetry where audiences engage in real-time with a lively crocodile.
• Laura Voth - Beta Betamax with May Yang - Music and Visuals: Gilcrease Museum's "Uncreased" series with a pop-up art exhibit by May Yang, where audio/visual artist Beta Betamax will perform live, collaborating with May's paintings to develop sounds and sights.
• China Rose Arts Group - Performance: Experience the vibrant beauty of Chinese folk dance! Join us for a captivating performance by China Rose Arts.
