About this Event
Jennie and Pauline of Hana Art share about the inspiring world of Ikebana for art, nature and mindfulness. The artworks, that can be taken home, are made from ordinary, unusual and unconventional materials in this serenity-inducing workshop.
About Hana Art
At Hana Art, students are encouraged students to enjoy Ikebana and to thrive in their individual beauty of expression through the Japanese art of flower arrangement. Sogetsu-ryu is one of the most famous schools in Ikebana that focuses on space, balance and harmony. “Anytime, anywhere, by anyone, Sogetsu Ikebana can be created.” According to them, an Ikebana arrangement injects life into any home, atrium, banquet hall, shop window, large public space. Any space can be enhanced by adding colour and rhythm in a contemporary way.
