About the Event
Amanda Leigh guides the group, examining the word 'Style', before launching into modules including dressing for body type, using colour and pattern in clothing and cultivating improved presence and body image. A useful and hopeful workshop for anyone who's ever opened their wardobe and despaired!
About Amanda Leigh Style
As a young girl, Amanda would spend her weekends rummaging through Hong Kong's markets, but struggled to find items she liked and which fit. This feeling of frustration led her to learn how to make her own clothes, develop her own perspective of style and complete her Degree in Fashion Design. After working for some of Australia’s leading fashion houses, Amanda realised there was something missing. Ultimately, her passion was not in making beautiful clothes for model-like figures, but in using fashion as a tool to help ALL women. Now a mother, Amanda works as a Personal Stylist, and makes it her mission to use clothes and fashion, as “tools for change and transformation,” to empower women to live fully.
