Defining Best Practice in Research Procurement
In June 2024 over 400 attendees from the buy and sell side joined us in New York to debate how proposed MiFiD II softening in the UK and the EU could translate to a more aligned regulatory regime with the US, how budgets and research supply could change as a result, and also assess how firms on both the buy and sell side were adopting potentially transformational new technologies.
On November 6th, 2024 we will reunite the European investment research industry at the Institute of Directors, Pall Mall, London. Panels will cover the key regulatory developments in the UK and Europe, how AI and other technologies are evolving consumption and supply of research and data, how CSAs could work in a European "joint payments" world, and the role of the research valuation process across differing research funding approaches.
