Transitions Dressage Club – Educational Talk: Equine Ulcers 🐎We are delighted to invite you to join us at Transitions Dressage Club on Saturday, 4 April 2026 at 11:00am for an informative and practical talk presented by the highly respected Dr James Meyer.
Dr Meyer will be sharing his expertise on equine ulcers, covering:
- Common risk factors
- Prevention strategies

- How to recognise signs in your horse

About Dr James Meyer:
Dr James Meyer is a highly accomplished equine veterinarian with extensive experience across South Australia and Western Australia. Growing up in SA, James began riding at just three years old and has been actively involved in hacking, dressage, and eventing ever since.
He completed his veterinary degree at the University of Adelaide and has remained deeply involved in the equestrian community. James is an active Pony Club instructor and contributes to FEI, endurance, and veterinary organisations.
As a Level 3 Official Veterinarian, he regularly services FEI events across eventing, jumping, and dressage, and is also an AERA-accredited endurance veterinarian.
