PLEASE NOTE: This session will be an excursion to an external Armadale location (confirmed by email) due to council maintenance. As such there will be no attendance fee this session, however you can choose to purchase food/drinks. At Paint a Poem, we create artworks taking inspiration from poetry. At each group session we will learn about a featured poet and their life. Group participants select one their poems (provided by facilitator) to draw paint etc. Any medium is welcome. Bring your own art supplies and canvas/sketchbook. Limited supplies will be available for general use. We will occasionally do another a poetry-inspired art activity. Armadale Society of Artists members $4 non-members $6. Cash/coin payment at each group preferred. Email [email protected] to register. We meet approximately fortnightly, usually the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month. A welcome email will be sent upon registration.
