ULCC 2025 Outstanding Book on the History of Chicago Award Nominee
What can cure the winter blues? Our celebration of Chicago House Music with a playlist and conversavtion curated by author Marguerite Harrold as she and Andrew Peart talk about the origins and rise of one of the most popular musical genres in the world.
Our cocktail reception with cash bar (and dance party) starts at 5:30pm followed by the program at 6:00pm. Chicago House Music: Culture and Community will be available for purchase and signing before and after the program. Reservations are required.
Please note the ULCC dress code: A relaxed, well-dressed look described as ‘Smart Casual’ is welcomed throughout the club. Smart Casual may include jeans, denim, and collar-less shirts. Please – no hats, t-shirts, or sweats.
