UK Innovation Districts Summit 2026

This is an opportunity for curious people working across place based innovation, to connect with other UK Innovation Districts Group Members, explore the year's most relevant themes, share knowledge and make valuable connections.

At the Summit we will welcome colleagues from across the UK IDG community, as well as the policy makers, placemakers, entrepreneurs, and changemakers designing and delivering innovation districts and placemaking activity in the UK and overseas.

You can expect inspiring talks, hands-on sessions, and plenty of chances to explore ideas, learn lessons, and access that peer support and community that we all value so much.

This year's Summit is being held at the Everyman Theatre, within the Knowledge Quarter Liverpool innovation district, during the city region's Innovation Investment Fortnight.

We are organising a pre-event drinks reception the evening before the Summit (5.30pm -7.30pm on Thursday 4th June ). We hope you can join us.

• CENTRAL TECH, 31 Russell Street, L3 5LJ (approx 5 minutes walk from Lime Street Train Station).
• A welcome reception for UK IDG delegates ahead of the Summit, raising a toast with regional stakeholders celebrating Liverpool's position in the European Capital of Innovation Awards.
• Expect fizz and food.

The Everyman Theatre stands at the north end of Hope Street in Liverpool.
