Getting there: The Education centre is a short walk from University (Birmingham) train station. Trains run approximately every 10 minutes from Birmingham New Street to University.

Travel Expenses

You can claim back up to £100 for any travel expenses incurred. (this does not include the £10 ticket price). In order to be able to claim back expenses you must be a regular member of the EHDN, if you haven't already signed up for this please do so via this link: https://www.euro-hd.net/html/network/project/membership/request

We recommend you book your travel in advance to take advantage of cheaper fares where possible. Claims will be via Cardiff University, and you will be provided with a claim form after the meeting. If you have any exceptional circumstances for travel which would cause you to exceed the £100 limit please contact us prior to purchasing a ticket and we can consider whether we can cover this cost. Except in exceptional circumstances all expenses over the £100 limit should be claimed back from your home institution or out of pocket.

Tickets are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so please register ASAP. We will be keeping a waiting list if you are unable to get a ticket and we will notify you if a spot becomes available.

FAQs

What's the refund policy?

If you need to cancel your place we would appreciate you letting us know as soon as possible so we can offer your place to another delegate. The conference fee is fully refundable up to 7 days before the event date, after this date we cannot guarantee we will be able to refund your ticket. If we are able to re-sell your ticket then we will pass the refund on to you, but if not we will not be able to offer a refund.

Is my ticket transferrable?

If you are unable to attend but someone else from your organisation, who is involved in Enroll-HD, would like to go in your place we are happy to transfer your ticket to them. Please email [email protected] with your request as soon as possible and we will process this.

No you do not have to bring a printed ticket

Why is there a £10 ticket price?

The ticket fee has been introduced to help offset the costs of running the meeting and also to foster attendance.
