Season' Greetings! Olori Temple is here to add Culture to the Holiday Season! Kwanzaa is an annual cultural holiday that celebrates African-American and Pan-African heritage, family, and community. Kwanzaa emerged during the Black Freedom Movement and the Black Power era of the 1960s, a time of significant civil unrest and a push for Black self-determination and cultural pride. Here we are in 2025 facing Civil unrest all over again. Maulana Karenga, a professor of Africana Studies, founded Kwanzaa to help African Americans reconnect with their African roots and build a strong, proud community. Olori Temple invites you to come experience Kwaanza with us and our community. There will be live entertainment, childrens activities, and vendors, vendors, vendors! vending fee is $50.
