Speaker: Daria Donati, Chief Scientific Officer of Genomic Medicine at Cytiva. On a mission to make a difference. Daria lead the strategic direction and execution of the company's portfolio of genomic solutions, products, and services. With over 20 years of experience in biopharmaceuticals, She have a strong background in business development, R&D, marketing, and product management, as well as a PhD in Experimental Medicine from Karolinska Institute.
Daria’s many achievements include title of European businesswoman of the year in the category Life Sciences, and her pivotal role in the development of Cytiva’s KUBio solution, the world’s first modular biomanufacturing facility..

The UCL- Cytiva Centre of Excellence (CoE) is a strategic industrial research initiative setup in 2018 to foster innovation, facilitate knowledge transfer, and address critical bioprocessing industrial challenges. With support from EPSRC & MRC Prosperity Partnership fund the Centre will now continue until 2029 with a focus on "Smart Biomanufacturing for Genomic Medicines," to address the challenges of manufacturing revolutionary genomic medicines. The partnership will improve patient access to these transformative therapies and establish manufacturing innovation in a high-growth sector that will result in societal and economic impact.
