The Invisible Orange presents:
UADA and MORTIIS - The Witches Of Dystopia Tour MMXXVI
with Rome and Wraith Knight
Enigmatic black metal horde UADA and industrial metal artist Mortiis have teamed up for a very special co-headliner, featuring exclusive anniversary sets and supporting performances by Jerome Reuter’s ROME (Jerome Reuter) and Wraith Knight.
UADA will be performing their seminal 2016 debut album 'Devoid of Light' in its entirety + a special Ceremonial Castings (official) 30th anniversary set featuring WRAITH KNIGHT. In addition, MORTIIS shall be performing songs from his groundbreaking 2001 full-length, 'The Smell Of Rain,' along with other volumes of dystopian despair.
UADA
Since their formation in 2014, Uada's rise has been meteoric. Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, the band quietly released their debut album, Devoid of Light in 2016 through and word of mouth quickly built from there: here was BLACK METAL writ large, classic and uncompromising but brimming with power, soul, and artistry, and all without bluster and bathos. Uada's debut album surely expanded the lexicon of the melodic black metal idiom, and the underground took notice. Two years later came Cult of a Dying Sun, whereby the band further perfected their craft and compellingly took to the stage, their performances garnering as much acclaim as their recordings. During all this, more than the underground started to take notice; the name Uada was on the tongues of folks usually reticent to black metal.
In 2020, almost effortlessly, Uada fully perfect their craft and delivered Djinn. Simply titled but by no means simple in construction nor execution, Djinn builds upon the increasingly ambitious songwriting of its no-less-considerable predecessor, but pushes their dazzling artistry into nearly Technicolor landscapes of the Beyond.

ROME
Luxembourg-born singer-songwriter Jerome Reuter founded his multilingual project ROME (the name stems from the abridged version of his first name) in 2005 and has since created an authoritative body of work encompassing at least 20 studio albums and numerous other official releases. Reuter's compelling brand of Dark Folk merges various musical influences from Post-Punk to Chanson, from Industrial to Synth Wave. Lyrically inspired by world literature from Burroughs to Brecht, Celine to Cioran, from Hesse to Jünger; Reuter’s detailed, well-researched, yet particularly accessible concept albums combine his interest in history, philosophy and the arts in a most unique way.
For 20 years Jerome Reuter a.k.a ROME has been a force to reckon with in the musical underground. Through relentless touring and a steady stream of high quality concept albums, ROME has built a remarkably loyal following from Berlin to LA, from Sydney to Saigon, from Lisbon to Kyiv. Through his unique vision and lyrical content, Reuter has managed to establish his very own musical niche informed by various european folk and chanson traditions coupled with post punk and industrial influences. With several new releases in tow, ROME set off for a extensive tour through Europe, the U.S and Australia to celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2025.
