Typhoon will bring their indie-rock sound to Westlake Park on Tuesday, Sept. 10 for the finale of Downtown Summer Sounds!With complicated arrangements and careful orchestrations, live performances from Typhoon are always a night to remember. The indie-rock band hails from Portland, but has been all over the globe, including a feature on NPR’s Tiny Desk and playing Lollapalooza and other high profile music festivals. Their unique sound comes from experimenting with various styles, including a number of "sea shanties", country western and Eastern European-inspired songs for a truly unforgettable experience.
The Downtown Seattle Association is proud to present Downtown Summer Sounds, our summer concert series that has been bringing free live, local music to downtown Seattle for 45 years.
