About this Event
Typewronger's new No Homework Book Club has finally landed!
What is the No Homework Book Club?
Every 2nd Sunday of the month, we'll get together as a small group in the shop to talk about books we have read or are currently reading based on the monthly prompt. Feel free to bring the book you want to talk about for a bit of show and tell, but this is by no means required. Come join us for some great conversation - this format is great to discuss a variety of titles instead of just one, and to get a fantastic recommendations as a result! Hosted by our Sunday bookseller Alex Victor.
The fourth book club's theme is M**der MYSTERY!
Who doesn't enjoy a good whodunit? Are you a fan of locked room murders? Do you like to solve along with the plot or to be surprised by the twists? Are you a fan of the tried-and-true detective series, or do you prefer standlone mysteries without the distraction of a captivating personality? Whatever flavour of M**der you enjoy (to read about...), come chat about it with us at the next Book Club!
How the book club works
During the evening, everyone will get a set amount of time to tell us about the title they picked and why they picked it. You don't have to talk for the entire allocated time, but the limit is there to ensure that everyone gets a chance to introduce their pick. You don't have to necessarily even have a specific title in mind to come, you just need the willingness to listen and discuss the topic. Free hot tea included (and encouraged).
Because of the nature of the event, spaces are limited to 12, so book yours as soon as you can. If it turns out that you cannot attend, please make sure to cancel it as soon as you know, so that your space can be given to somebody else. There is always next month!
PLEASE NOTE: the tickets are free, as is every Typewronger event. However, if you want to support us, considering adding a donation to your order, shopping with us, ordering titles you hear about on the night, or donating at typewronger.com.
