Typewronger's No Homework Book Club

Every 2nd Sunday of the month, we'll get together as a small group in the shop to talk about books we have read or are currently reading based on the monthly prompt. Feel free to bring the book you want to talk about for a bit of show and tell, but this is by no means required. Come join us for some great conversation - this format is great to discuss a variety of titles instead of just one, and to get a fantastic recommendations as a result! What kind of horror fan are you? Do you like horror movies more than books or viceversa? What about horror podcasts?! Maybe you're not even a horror fan yet, but want to learn more about this misunderstood genre. Whether you're into terror, gore, slashers, ghosts, monsters, classic, modern, mild, or disturbing - this month's book club is for you! Pick your favourite horror book/series of all time, pack your sense of morbid curiosity, and come talk about the amazing ways horror lets us explore our fears, understand other perspectives, and even find joy.

During the evening, everyone will get a set amount of time to tell us about the title they picked and why they picked it. You don't have to talk for the entire allocated time, but the limit is there to ensure that everyone gets a chance to introduce their pick. You don't have to necessarily even have a specific title in mind to come, you just need the willingness to listen and discuss the topic. Free hot tea included (and encouraged).
