Typewronger's No Homework Book Club

Every 2nd Sunday of the month, we'll get together as a small group in the shop to talk about books we have read or are currently reading based on the monthly prompt. Feel free to bring the book you want to talk about for a bit of show and tell, but this is by no means required. Come join us for some great conversation - this format is great to discuss a variety of titles instead of just one, and to get a fantastic recommendations as a result! Hosted by our Sunday bookseller Alex Victor.

Whether you're a long-time fantasy fan, or want some recommendations to get into the genre, come along to talk about fantasy books with fellow readers! Do you have a favourite fantasy book you keep going back to? Are you a fan of big, long series, or standalone titles? Do you like you fantasy high or cozy? And, most importantly, are you still waiting for the last Game of Thrones book, or are you lying?

During the evening, everyone will get a set amount of time to tell us about the title they picked and why they picked it. You don't have to talk for the entire allocated time, but the limit is there to ensure that everyone gets a chance to introduce their pick. You don't have to necessarily even have a specific title in mind to come, you just need the willingness to listen and discuss the topic. Free hot tea included (and encouraged).
