About this Event

Welcome to "Tying Different Body Types"!
Date: Sat Apr 12 2025
Time: 13:00:00
Location: Dear Eleanor
Come join us for a fun and interactive event where we celebrate diversity and body positivity.
Rope is versatile, but no two bodies are the same. A tie that works perfectly for one person might need adjustments for someone else. Many rope demos tend to feature a specific body type without fully explaining the reasoning behind rope placement. By understanding this, you’ll be better equipped to adjust ties for different bodies.
In this class, you’ll learn how to adapt your ropework to different bodies so that ties feel safer, more comfortable, and well-balanced. We’ll cover the following:
-Adjusting ties for different shapes, sizes, and mobility levels
-Making rope fit the body instead of forcing the body into a tie
-Improving communication and body awareness in rope scenes
Prerequisites for tying participants: You must be comfortable tying a single-column tie, double-column tie, basic futomomo (leg tie), and a simple chest harness.
This is a judgment-free, inclusive space where all bodies are valued.
Tickets are $25 per person.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with others and celebrate the beauty of uniqueness. See you there!
