Worn Down Thread (WDT) is a three-piece band from Hamburg, Germany. The members have known each other for years through skateboarding and originally started the band as a punk project in 2022. Those punk roots are still present, even though their sound has gradually shifted towards emotional hardcore.
WDT gives blood, sweat, and throat — direct, loud, and without unnecessary extras. Fully DIY, the band runs on a regional-train-optimized setup: minimal gear, maximum energy.
Blending raw hardcore parts with melodic moments, their songs deal with personal experiences, frustration, and the things that stick with you.
