About this Event
About the Event:
The TUM Speakers Series presents as part of the EU Week at TUM together with the TUM School of Management— an afternoon dedicated to exploring how European policy is shaping the future of sustainability, industry, and innovation. In a moderated keynote followed by an open discussion, Commissioner Roswall will engage directly with the audience on the challenges and opportunities facing Europe.
About the Speaker:
Jessika Roswall has served as EU Commissioner for Environment, Water Resilience and a Competitive Circular Economy since December 2024. As Swedish politician and former Minister for EU Affairs (2022–2024), she leads the EU's efforts on the Circular Economy Act, sustainable products, the European Water Resilience Strategy, and the zero-pollution ambition. In her keynote, she will explore how the EU is transforming environmental regulation into a driver of competitiveness and innovation — and what role the next generation plays in shaping this transition.
