Yin is a slower-paced, more meditative practice, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. In Yin yoga, the poses are held for a longer period of time (typically three to five minutes or longer) to target the connective tissues (such as the ligaments) rather than focusing on the muscles.
Through Yin find a deep means of relaxing both body and mind, become more aware of the ever changing nature of the body and move into a state of Being.
