ABOUT THE FEATURED POETS:
Eva Garg is a poet and artist whose work draws inspiration from rap music, films, emotionally intimate storytelling, and everyday life. Influenced by artists and writers like Agust D, RM, NF, Ocean Vuong, and Asako Yuzuki, alongside works like Chungking Express, her writing
explores love, grief, longing, ambition, loneliness, and what it means to survive yourself.
Her poetry is rooted in observation: of people, of the self, and of the quiet wounds we carry beneath ordinary life. She writes from the belief that every life holds a truth worth looking at closely, even in its messiest and most vulnerable moments. What emerges from those spaces are poems about loneliness, memory, hope, heartbreak, softness, and the versions of
ourselves we are still becoming.
Drawn to art across cultures, Eva has also spent time learning Korean and French out of a desire to experience music, writing, and cinema in their emotional and cultural context.
A trained lawyer, she currently works a 9-to-5 while continuing to build her creative practice
alongside it, writing poems late into the night and hoping to one day make art full-time.
