About this Event
Capture the beauty of the world around you in a loose and fluid style using watercolors! Watercolor is a beginner-friendly place to start painting.
In this course, beginners will focus on how to work from a photo, color mixing, brush techniques, layering, and using the materials.
Topics Covered:
- how to find the perfect subject to paint
- techniques for better composition
- editing tips
- how to manage the amount of time it takes to paint your piece
- how to apply "the finishing touches"
Students will receive positive feedback and lots of 1-on-1 guidance from the instructor. You'll walk away with confidence and a greater understanding of the watercolor medium—plus, a beautiful painting to hang at home.
If you're wanting to repeat this class and take it again, you'll enjoy new perspectives and lessons by one of our three rotating instructors. They are also capable of helping returning students to grow with more Level 2 techniques and feedback.
No drawing experience required. All skill levels welcome.
