About this Event
Whether you’re a returning player or completely new to Australian Rules Football, our pre-season is the perfect time to get involved, get active, and meet the team. Our friendly coaches and experienced players will teach you the basics and help you feel comfortable on the field.
What is aussie rules?
Imagine a sport with soccer's kicking, ultimate and volleyball's aerial play, basketball's dribbling, hockey's body checks, mixed with lacrosse's speed. It's every sport rolled into a chaotic game of fun!
Who can play?
Everyone is invited to pre-season. We welcome all athletic abilities, ages, and genders. Pre-season is predominantly non-contact (similar to basketball) making it a great way to cross train for other sports.
When?
Saturdays, 10:45 am to 12 pm
January 10th to the end of April
Where?
Allan A. Lamport Stadium Dome (indoor heated field)
1155 King Street West, Toronto
How much?
First practice is free for folks new to footy!
$100-150 "pay what you can" sliding scale for all 15 sessions
$15 per drop in
