Our inaugural showcase True North by Nordic Artists of New York features diverse Nordic music, dance, performing arts, visual arts and handicrafts by New York-based Nordic and Baltic creators, while highlighting local environmental initiatives. This immersive event, held at a historical townhouse, allows guests to experience themes of Nordic nature through various styles of performing and visual art, culminating in a live show of music, dance and spoken word.
Besides pioneering as a unique collaboration between artists, artforms and cultural communities. True North is also a great collaboration between various Nordic art organizations. Our partners include Finlandia Foundation New York Chapter, Scandinavian American Theatre Company, Nordic International Film Festival, Estonian Educational Society and many others.
