To celebrate Australian Heritage Festival Month, the Embroiderers’ Guild, in conjunction with the National Trust, is pleased host a public talk by textile artist, Trudi Pollard.Captured by Colour showcases the artistic journey of local artist Trudi Pollard, whose textile art bursts with colours sourced from plants she cultivates herself in Bedfordale. Drawing on her childhood experiences as a prisoner of war, her migration to Australia, and her current life, Trudi’s work honours the natural colours of the hills and the wisdom of generations, celebrating both the beauty of nature and the creative spirit that endures across time.
This talk is open to the public.
Cost: $20, includes morning tea and coffee after Trudi's talk.
