To say this is surreal to write is an understatement. Our sister, daughter, mother, partner, closest and dearest friend, Trish, has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and has begun the overwhelming journey of fighting this complex diagnosis. Amid the hardship, Trish has remained committed to staying positive. Her strength, grace, and unwavering spirit are nothing short of inspirational. She is a true warrior, and her resilience has been a light not only to those of us who love her but to anyone facing a similar battle.Trish has started an aggressive chemotherapy regimen that will continue until mid April, at which point her medical team will reassess the next steps. In the midst of all of this, she is doing everything she can to support her healing—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. In conjunction with the chemotherapy, Trish is also exploring all treatment options, including a full holistic and integrative treatment approach.
These treatments, along with the supplements and required travel, come at a significant cost and add yet another layer of financial strain, as many of these therapies are not covered by insurance. With Trish unable to work, our hope is that, together, we can give Trish the support she needs to focus fully on her healing and help ease the burden during this incredibly challenging chapter.
