5K Your Way is a free, active, social, cancer support group in the outdoors.Come and join us at Trelissick Gardens on the last Saturday of every month, to walk, jog, run, natter and cheer each other round as much or as little of the Trelissick Parkrun as you like. Then join us for a cuppa in the cafe afterwards.
Before you arrive, please register with Parkrun and 5K Your Way via the links below, and remember to bring along your Parkrun barcode if you wish to register a 5km time.

WHO'S IT FOR?
5K Your Way is for anyone affected by cancer, including friends, family members, clinicians and support workers. It's for anyone who wants to get active, get outdoors, and meet new people, no matter your previous or current fitness level. All ages welcome.

WHAT IS 5K YOUR WAY?
Walk, jog, run as much or as little of the 5km Trelissick parkrun course as you wish. If you're not ready to take part, you'd be very welcome to come along and cheer, chat or volunteer. We'll be stopping for a cuppa in the cafe afterwards, too. The Parkrun course is a one-lap out-and-back woodland route. It's undulating with one steep hill in the very middle (this can be easily avoided by turning back just before you enter the open field at approximately 2km).

WHERE DOES IT TAKE PLACE?
Trelissick Gardens, Feock, Near Truro, TR3 6QL. Look for our blue 5K Your Way meeting point flag opposite the toilets. Our volunteers will be wearing our bright blue 5KYW T-shirts or hoodies (though these may be under coats if it's raining!)

WHEN IS IT ON?
The last Saturday of every month. Meeting from 8.30am. 5K Your Way welcome/briefing is at 8.45am, with the main Parkrun briefing taking place at approximately 8.50am. There is then a short walk to the start line, and Parkrun starts at 9am.
HOW CAN I SIGN UP?
STEP 1: Register with Parkrun here, if you have not done so already: https://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/ (You can choose "5K Your Way" as your running club if you wish)
STEP 2: Use your Parkrun barcode number to register for 5K Your Way here:https://www.moveagainstcancer.org/5kyw-registration/
Once you've registered for Parkrun, you can print your personal barcode, save it to your phone or purchase a barcode wristband on their website. Bring your barcode with you on the day. If you complete the full 5km course, you will be given a finish token as you cross the line. Parkrun volunteers then scan your token and your barcode to record your own personal run or walk time. Your time and a list of results will be emailed to you later in the day.
Remember not to go through the finish funnel or collect a token if you haven't completed the full 5km.
DOES IT COST ANYTHING?
It's free to join and take part in 5KYW and Trelissick parkrun. Parking is free for National Trust members but there is a charge for non-members. You might also want to bring some money for refreshments in the cafe afterwards.
STILL UNSURE?
There will always be at least two 5KYW volunteers running or walking the course too - we are there to support or keep you company if you would like. There will also always be at least one non-participating volunteer, so if you don't fancy taking part and just want to come along for a natter, there will be someone there to make you feel welcome.
