Tree Walk on the Hill: Winter's Almost Over! Seasonal Science and History

Join Lisa Brooks (Acorn Outdoor Learning) & arborist Sam Nelson (Tree Stories) for a special walk around the U.S. Capitol building and arboretum. We’ll discuss winter plant science, identify buds, celebrate Black history through trees, and look ahead to spring. The walk will conclude with hot cocoa and community for socializing.

Meet: At northeast corner of 1st Street SE and Independence Ave. We'll walk for 60-90 minutes, clockwise, around the building and finish where started with hot cocoa. Children welcome!
