Nature Alberta, Root for Trees, and Invasive Plant Outreach invite you to a fun and educational evening to celebrate the biodiversity in the River Valley at Rundle Park (parking map below). Bring your own mug as we have hired 'The Mule' from the Colombian to provide you with free coffee or tea!
Activities (rotating schedule):
Citizen science nature walks
Tree planting
Invasive W**d pulling
Event Highlights:
Learn about local plants and animals.
Participate in hands-on conservation activities.
Explore the beauty of Edmonton's River Valley.
Connect with local environmental organizations such as Protect our Winters, City of Edmonton programs Partners in Parks, and Invasive Plant Outreach.
Registration:
Please arrive by 5:30 PM to register, get complimentary coffee or tea, and visit our exhibitor tents. This event has 3 workshops that you will rotate through so it is important to register so we can assign you to your group! You will have 30 minutes per activity.
Reminders
Wear closed toed shoes if you would like to participate in the planting activity.
Bring clothing layers appropriate to the weather
Please bring a reusable mug or cup for complimentary tea or coffee!
