A festival of family fun celebrating literacy, our North Central Philadelphia neighborhood and all of the programs working to make Philadelphia a city of readers, writers and thinkers! AUTHOR VISITS TO THE TREE HOUSE, READ ALOUDS, THE TRAVELING TREE HOUSE, FUN AND GAMES, AND MUCH MUCH MORE!
This festival will be a safe (masks please!) block-party-style celebration of books and literacy with music, activities, readings by local authors, giveaways, and more. Notable Philadelphians will be attending to celebrate their love for reading with us, and we’ll be holding the biggest book swap the city has ever seen! Philadelphia Literacy Day is a project of Tree House Books and part of the city-wide Reading Promise Festivals with our partners at Read by 4th!
(Presented with Running Press Books, Quirk Books, Senator Sharif Street, Community Ventures, and Read by 4th)
