Trauma release exercises are a set of exercises that help the body release deeply held trauma by activating the body’s natural tremoring mechanisms. TRE activates the body’s natural tremoring mechanism of shaking or vibrating. This releases muscular tension and helps calm down the nervous system, which helps the body to return to a state of balance. TRE can be practiced in a group or alone.NB: This practice does not involve talking therapy, it is purely a body based exercise that you can do again at home.
