Canmore FCSS is excited to bring the Travelling Neighbourhood Plate‑Making activity to the BVCC Drop‑In Event on May 5 from 1:00–3:00 pm. Join us to create your own Travelling Plate — an activity designed to connect neighbours, build relationships, and reduce social isolation.Participants will personalize and decorate a plate to take home, fill with baked goods or other special treats, and then share with a neighbour. That neighbour is encouraged to pass the plate along to someone else, creating new points of connection as the plate continues to travel throughout the community.
To celebrate the journey, participants are encouraged to include a small card with the plate so recipients can sign it as they receive it. This allows the plate’s “story” to grow over time, creating a visible web of community connections through a simple pass‑it‑along tradition.
This event is FREE. To guarantee a plate register below. Drop in welcome - plates availability while they last
