Trauma Informed Care

Trauma and the basics of trauma-informed care in the context of homelessness and housing programs is covered in this three hour in-person workshop, which is a must for all staff that have direct interaction with program participants. Topics covered include: defining and understanding trauma; principles of a trauma-informed approach; applications of a trauma-informed approach in program design and operations; and, implications to an organization when they become trauma-informed.
