About this Event

The Khepera Wellness signature Trap Yoga class followed by Black Boys Om Lounge, hydration station and juice bar cocktails with Eaton Wellness. This combination of high paced, active Ashtanga yoga and deep Southern bass is the experience of a life time. The spiritual practice of yoga, when coupled with the explosive baselines of a soulfully rooted southern sound, feels electric. This experience is for students that embody the Khepera Wellness motto of “Evolve Your Self” – no yoga experience required. The motivational sounds are coupled with caring instruction; this means that you will be given options to challenge yourself at every stage of your practice (beginner to experienced) while being encouraged to listen to your body and breath.

After yoga, join Brandon for an outdoor hydration lounge, refreshing mocktails, and conversations with Khepera Wellness, motivated by the heart of the street. Masks recommended for any unvaccinated folx duing in-person yoga. All are welcome. Brunch and cocktails not included but available. Tickets for in-person yoga will be limited, but virtual tickets are also available.

About Brandon Copeland

Brandon Copeland is the owner of Khepera Wellness, a social enterprise that provides wellness services to individuals, sports teams, corporations and schools across the country. Brandon is also founder and president of Black Boys Om, a nonprofit organization introducing traditional wellness practices to inner city youth in innovative and engaging ways. He went on to create a nationally practiced style of yoga, Trap Yoga, that combines hip hop music and traditional yoga sequences. Brandon pioneers new opportunities for people to direct the wellness conversation to fit their specific needs with both his business and non profit organization.

Brandon has been featured in over 50 publications for his work in the field of wellness including The Washington Post, Fader Magazine, and ABC News. Good Morning America, News One Now, and Essence Magazine have filmed features on his work in the inner city schools of Southeast Washington D.C. Brandon is a model for Nike Yoga that is featured in their 2019 Summer lookbook and is in continuing programming with the brand.
