Module 1: Introduction to Transpersonal Breathwork (3 days) This is the first Module of a 15 Module 450 hour Australian Breathwork Association recognised training and is online from the 29th-31st July 2022
In Module 1 we will cover:
Breathwork: Theory and Practice
Learn about the theory and practice of Breathwork. Here you learn how to utilise different breathing patterns to bring about healing states of consciousness, deep relaxation, overcome anxiety and panic, regulate the nervous system, access meditative states, and open the door to altered states of consciousness.
Trauma Recovery and the Breath
Learn about trauma recovery through breathwork. What breathing practices help a person to re-connect to the present time and relax into the healing wisdom of their body. How breathwork can help to release the story of trauma that is held in the body.
An Introduction to Meditation and Breathing practices
Throughout the whole of the training, and beginning in Module One, you will learn meditation, yogic, and shamanic breathing exercises to bring about mediative and healing states of consciousness. These techniques are used to expand and alter states of consciousness, become aware of body intelligence, connect with the intelligence of Nature, regulate the nervous system, and for trauma recovery.
Cost: $800 or early bird $750 if paid by the 14th July 2022
Prerequisite: it is essential to have completed at least 10 conscious connected breathwork sessions (different to yoga pranayama) with a fully qualified breathwork practitioner. It is also necessary to speak with Claire to assess your readiness for the training prior to booking the event.
