About this Event
Are you passionate about health equity? Do you have an innovative idea to solve a pressing public health challenge, but need the tools and funding to make it happen?
Join us for an information session to learn all about the (formerly the Social Impact Innovation Grant). This program supports undergraduate and graduate students across all disciplines at UC Berkeley in developing and implementing community-based projects that "bend the arc" toward health equity.
The Impact Innovators Program isn't just about funding—it’s about building the skills to become a lifelong public health leader. In this session, we will break down the roadmap for the upcoming year:
- The Funding: Learn how your team can apply for grants of up to $10,000 to bring your project to life.
- The Training: Get a preview of "Social Impact Tuesdays," our fall workshop series designed to help you build a comprehensive project proposal, from design thinking to budget management.
- The Community: Meet potential collaborators from across campus—including public health, engineering, business, and data science.
We are thrilled to be joined by a past Impact Innovators recipient! They will share their firsthand experience navigating the program, from the initial "Social Impact Tuesday" workshops to implementing their project in the community. Come ready with questions about how they turned their vision into a reality.
Register today to take the first step in your changemaking journey!
