About this Event
We will begin the evening by arriving together in a calm, intentional way. Setting a personal intention and hearing about the theme guiding our night. From there, we will gently introduce mantra meditation through japa, learning how to chant on a mala. If you don't have your own, one will be provided. This practice supports focus, grounding, and inner stillness. No prior experience is needed - guidance will be offered throughout.
The evening will then open into kirtan, a shared musical meditation where we sing sacred mantras together in a participatory space. This practice is heart-centered and accessible to all, allowing each person to engage at their own comfort level. Listening, singing, dancing, or being simply absorbed the sound.
We will close the meditation portion with moments of quiet reflection, offering space to integrate the experience inwardly before transitioning externally. The night concludes with a nourishing, blessed vegan/vegetarian dinner, prepared with care and offered as a continuation of the practice—supporting body, mind, and spirit.
This gathering is designed to be both ceremonial and approachable, ideal for those new to mantra meditation as well as those with an established practice. Come as you are, and allow the evening to unfold with love and devotion.
