What are your needs? Can we collectively organise to meet them?With advice from seasoned organisers & community participation, this session will take a grounded approach towards building a lasting trans people's organisation in Tāmaki Makaurau.
This is a trans-centred community space, with trans & gender-diverse people prioritised; allies are welcome to attend respectfully & with care.

The workshop is free to attend, registration is essential, ticketed entry to Womens Pioneer Hall.
Health & wellbeing measures will be in place, including N95 masks & HEPA air filtration.
NO filming allowed. Attendees are asked to respect privacy & confidentiality; particularly around personal stories shared during the workshop.
This event is proudly part of the Auckland Pride Festival 2026, guided by this year’s theme Ngā Uri E! Ngā Uri E! celebrates Pride as a living movement shaped by whakapapa, collective struggle & renewal, bringing diverse communities together in Tāmaki Makaurau to strengthen relationships, honour shared histories & carry our voices forward toward a shared horizon.
