Trans Joy Swim and Gym event

In partnership with Trans Pride Australia, we invite trans and gender diverse communities, including partners, families and friends, to join us for a free, family-friendly, all-ages, alcohol-free ticketed event at Cook + Phillip Park Pool.

The pool and its amenities will be reserved for the trans and gender diverse communities and their supporters for the duration of the event.

Enjoy exclusive use of the space including:

• Indoor 50m Olympic pool
• Indoor program pool
• Indoor wave pool with water features and beach party inflatables
• Supervised access to gym facilities
• Access to a chill out zone

What's On

There'll be a range of activities taking place during the event including:

• Entertainment and music
• Beginner and advanced gym classes in the Air Gym
• Swimming skills class for kids and adults
• A delicious and free community BBQ
• Aqua aerobics class
• Chill out zone
• And more!

This is a free event, but pre-registration is essential. RSVP today!

Centre information

The centre and pools are wheelchair accessible. This event will feature some bright lights such as disco balls and coloured lights and music. For people who may find this overstimulating, there will be a chill out zone with low light and noise.

Don't forget your sunscreen and remember to practice sun safety. To help us reach our sustainability goals, we ask that participants bring reusable drink bottles or use the recyclable options provided on the day.
