The Isle of Wight is a mountain biker's paradise: a haven of rolling chalk hills and quiet trails. Our one-day trip delivers the island's best riding experience with maximum enjoyment and zero travel stress.
๐งญ ๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐๐๐: Navigate 30 miles of stunning terrain with our experienced, qualified leaders. ๐ ๐๐จ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฏ๐๐: Two ferry crossings (Portsmouth to Ryde, Yarmouth to Lymington) plus a luxury minibus and bike trailer transfer back to Portsmouth are all included. ๐ค ๐๐จ๐๐ข๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ข๐๐ข๐ง๐ : Enjoy the welcoming buzz and shared achievement Marmalade events are known for.

Taking a bike across the Solent to conquer the Isle of Wight's landscape is a genuine off-road rite of passage. We've created a trip to remember by taking care of all the complex logistics:
- Sail from Portsmouth to Ryde Pier on the Wightlink passenger ferry.
- Warm up along Ryde promenade before connecting with the vast off-road network of the island.
- Enjoy superb cross-country miles towards Newport, enjoying trails through Brighstone Forest.
- Ride over Compton Down as the iconic white cliffs past Freshwater Bay and the ๐๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐ฌ come into view.
- Round off the adventure with a well-earned drink in Yarmouth before the final ferry and comfortable minibus transfer back to Portsmouth.

This is a traditional cross-country route involving fun bumpy descents, rooty forest trails, and open downland. Hardtail or short-travel full suspension mountain bikes are perfect.
