About this Event
Session Overview:
As the new administration takes office, transgender and non-binary people and our loved ones are collectively facing the most politically challenging, deeply uncertain, and terrifying time of our lives. Fred Rogers famously said when there are scary things in the news to look for the helpers, and trans folks across the US are taking note of the individuals and organizations that are standing in solidarity with trans communities to know who we can rely on in the months and years ahead. This training is specifically designed to offer concrete guidance for cisgender allies who are wanting to better understand how trans & non-binary people are being impacted in the evolving climate, find ways to be the helpers, and identify opportunities for engaging in meaningful trans advocacy.
