This training is specifically designed for immigrants and newcomers who wish to navigate these crucial social issues while building resilience and community support.
Training Objectives:
- Understanding EDI Principles: Participants will explore the foundational concepts of equity, diversity, and inclusion. We will discuss why these principles are essential in creating fair and supportive environments, both in personal and professional settings.
- Awareness of Gender-Based Violence: The session will provide insights into the forms and impacts of gender-based violence, including statistics, cultural sensitivities, and resources available for support. Participants will learn how to recognize signs of GBV and understand its broader societal implications.
