About this Event
What traditions exist in our families, communities and friendship groups?
Which traditions do we relish and which do we dread?
How do we look after ourselves in the face of pressures and expectations?
The end of one year and the beginning of the next is a focal point for many customs and traditions. Sometimes these traditions help sustain us through the darkest period of the year, but sometimes they make us feel pressured or disrupt the healthy routines we’ve built for ourselves.
Join us in Studio 2 at Jacksons Lane Arts Centre for a friendly, informal discussion of the traditions that do and don’t work for us. There’ll be an opportunity to make a personalised ‘Seasonal Survival Kit’ and to explore the different ways we can create calm and comfort during the Winter months. At 12:30pm, we’ll head over to the Boogaloo pub for lunch and a drink.
If you'd like to find out more about this workshop, or have any questions or accessibility requirements, please email [email protected] or call/text Jen on 07882 520865.
