TradeWins Networking Reset: Week 2 - Getting By Giving

This is my second low pressure networking event for people like me. A soft, fidget‑friendly Friday meetup for shy, reserved, and self‑proclaimed awkward peoples who want connection without the pressure cooker.

This session flips classic networking on its head. No forced intros, no spotlight moments, no “go around the room and tell us about yourself” anxiety. The facilitator (me) handles all introductions so you never have to figure out how to jump in or whether you’re “doing it right.” If you want to introduce yourself, amazing. If not, you’re still fully included.

The space is intentionally as cozy and low‑stakes as a boardroom can be, with colouring pages, puzzles, tactile fidgets, and other comfort objects to keep your hands busy while your brain relaxes. We’ll talk honestly about why traditional networking feels exhausting, what doesn’t work for us, and how to survive (or even enjoy) more structured events like speed networking without losing your soul.

You’ll leave with a few gentle strategies, a couple of new humans in your orbit, and a helpful networking sidekick.

There will be light snacks. You do not need to get a ticket if you don't want to, just come on out. Also google maps is gonna send you to the wrong driveway, so keep that in mind. TONS OF PARKING.
