About this Event

The Folks Center for International Business and the Sonoco International Business Department, in collaboration with the Walker Institute for International and Area Studies, are proud to launch a new public forum series on Trade and Diplomacy. The inaugural event, “The Realignment of Global Trade,” will take place on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

This forum will bring together leaders from business and government to explore the evolving intersection of international commerce and global policy. The panel will feature distinguished former U.S. Ambassadors Ed McMullen (Switzerland) and James Story (Venezuela), alongside a senior corporate leader, offering diverse perspectives on shifting trade and investment patterns.

The event reflects the Moore School’s longstanding excellence in international business —ranked No. 1 in the nation for 27 consecutive years — and highlights the school's partnership with global business and govnerment leaders.
