Welcome to TOWER OF SONG, the songwriters’ night with a different monthly theme and musical style or other challenge to get your creative juices flowing. You don't have to stick to the theme, but please note our NO COVERS policy...all a cunning plan to encourage your songwriting!After inviting our previous audience to suggest and select the January theme, the vote ended in a tie, so we invite you to perform a song you've written inspired by 'HERBS & SPICES' and/or 'YOUR FAVOURITE MOVIE' which also has a SINGALONG CHORUS.
(Just so you know, my favourite movie isn't 'No Time To Die', but it provided a suitably herb-themed pun for the Facebook event title.)
You can take inspiration from any of none of the above, or off-theme original songs are also welcome.
Doors are at 8.00pm and you can sign up for a slot until performances start at 8.30pm.
Entry is free and PA and sound engineer are provided, so just bring your own instruments and amplification (and microphone if you'd prefer to use your own) if required.
We want to keep the space as safe as possible, so please avoid attending if you have (or suspect you might have) COVID-19 or anything else of a nasty and contagious nature.
