About this Event
Join us on Saturday 27th July for our last big ride of the Summer! We’re partying in true Newtown Park style with the 3rd edition of the Tour de Tap - supported by Van Rysel.
Sign On
Riders can sign on from 9am, where we’ll start our day right with a vegan pastry from Forest Bakery, and wash it down with a cup of coffee from Cardiff’s Hard Lines Coffee.
Routes
This year we’re going all out, giving riders 4 route options to choose from. The Short (90km) Long (125km) Extra Long (150km) or Gravel (Distance TBC)
All riders will be making their way south out of Bristol, taking in country lanes, scenic views, cafes and punchy climbs in and around the Mendips.
The Short route will skirt around the edge of the Mendips, taking in beautiful views of Chew Valley and Blagdon lakes, before passing the Thatchers cider farm in Sandford, taking you back to Bristol via the Strawberry Line.
The Long and Extra Long routes both ride up to the famous Glastonbury Tor, before dropping down into the beautiful and incense infused town itself. Riders then make their way across the Somerset Levels, around the Mendips and back to Bristol
The Extra Long route includes an additional stop off at Woodshedding Brewery just outside Shepton Mallet, and around the outskirts of the Glastonbury Festival site before making its way to the Tor.
Post Ride
The ride will finish at Left Handed Giant Taproom in St Philips. The taproom will be open from 1pm until 10pm. Riders will be able to pick up their goodie bag from us post-ride. This includes a can of LHG x NP.CC ‘La Flamme Rose’ radler.
